things have been going awfully odd this week.

it first started out with a vivid dream of mine that eventually became a half-truth: i woke up in the middle of the night to find the occurrence of a heavy downpour and my bedbuddies (ie. the two on beds next to mine) and i started a mighty long rant on how the clothes hanging outside are never going to get a chance to dry. we were then assembled outside our bunks in admin attire for a movie outing (?!!) and i was disappointed because everyone but me brought their ECS textbook along.

aaron then ended up with a worthy premonition of haogen, me and himself on a madsearch at some shopping mall hunting for ten-year-series questions. a stack of past-year trauma/medical theory questions ended up with our bunk i/c the following day.

the day i met encik ramlan at SMM, a list of "important topics for test" ended up on our bunk table miraculously. unfortunately, the piece of paper ended up listing everything we ever learnt in the past 3 weeks of course, which wasn't exactly very helpful.

fleur-de-lacour treatment apparently irritates renhe enough to make him swear.

RJ boy migrated from his bunk to other bunks after lights-out, scaring the hell out of fellow coursemates who woke up in the middle of the night finding a green cocoon occupying the otherwise empty last bed.

people say i resemble Kiasee, simply because haogen resembles Kiasu.

my irritation for an SCDF regular's lack of intelligence has evolved into a genuine sympathy for her failure at today's PAM practical test, this being her second attempt at it. her enthusiasm in learning, reflected by her unabashed questions on the spelling of simple words such as 'placebo' and her lonely mugging session in the lecture room (while everyone else was sleeping/talking/shouting), has touched me deeply.

the modified spec 2 group (who have passed through BSLC) have integrated themselves well to the life of a medical orderly. everyday life is now described in medical terms. my friend overheard one speaking to another in the washroom:
"wah lao. i wish we can book out everyday so that i can meet my girlfriend."
"i thought you broke up with your girlfriend already?"
"i met up with her last night and performed CPR on her, but she's still unstable."
(in layman terms, this probably means: we kissed last night but our relationship is still currently under probation)

and i came home pissed about everything after a swell day.
