a statement i've been told to write
(yet to show again, the oppression towards nsfs)

dear sir,

i deny all charges of being rude to ms *** over the phone. it would be against my nature to be offensive towards anyone on the phone unless conversing with persons as unreasonable as ******* or ******.
furthermore, the brief conversation i exchanged with ms *** was more akin to a monologue, with her reiterating the story of her need of paracetamol tablets for the commander; there was little space for me to insert rude remarks, if any at all.

i had arrived in the office at about 1345 hours after having my photo taken for my camp pass with *****. moments after i slipped the medical board summaries into their respective dockets, the senior medic phone (5910) rang and i went over to recieve the phonecall.
she asked for andrew over the phone and i replied that he was outfield. she then started her inquiry on whether she could obtain paracetamol tablets from us for the commander. i told her it would be possible to get it from the medical centre, before she started expounding on her story of why she needed the panadol, with me just periodically inserting "ok"s in between breaths as i had nothing to add.
towards the end of her story, she asked again whether she could get the panadol from us, and i explained patiently that it would be "no problem" to collect the medication from the medical centre.
(i did not make any empty promises to obtain the tablets on her behalf as i had to pack my MOP for a cover which was imposed upon me that very day)

shortly after the phonecall, i made a quick decision to call up the medical centre to ask *** to send **** to bring about 50 tabs of panadol to the commander's office, even though i never told her that i would be informing someone to bring it over. but apparently, my instructions got lost in transit and the delivery never took place.

it was unfortunate that ms *** would think that i was rude to her, and this is clearly affecting my mood for the weekend. i take great pride in the fact that i've never been complained against (before this incident), in regards of my attitude towards others, as i constantly strive to mask my rotten mood to the patients, and trying to keep my colleagues from being mean to them.

but apparently nobody bothers to take note.

your obedient soldier,
yunfei.
