9.19.2005 the photo of success i robbed this off zhuang. (see, i tagged you.) i present to you, the psc/safos scholars. i see familiar faces i never thought would be there. i also see familiar faces i knew would have been there all along. last of all, i see unfamiliar faces i never knew existed. this is a mix of admiration, jealousy and hatred- admiration for the achievements by the smartfucks, jealous for the money, and hatred for the pseudo-meritocratic society we live in. because (i'm sure enough to say) at least 80% of them come from at least higher-middle class families who live on private land, which makes up only 14% of the singapore population. and this is, for sure, no coincidence. 19:49 / and blackened tears fell with mine // |

hello - so you "linked", i see. :) it isn't really a photo of success, because nobody has accomplished anything yet. rather, its an opportunity to embark on a journey, where one can realise his / her potential. this opportunity takes its form in many other avenues. pick a scholarship you find truly suitable for you - the dms is one to consider. my classmate (female) is on the dms, studying at cornell. :) meanwhile, you take care of yourself. good luck in your applications - let's keep in touch.
