9.03.2005 another saturday evening spent roaming town to feed my eyes. wonderfuls (re)discovered today: 1. some donut pie thingy from the bakery at takashimaya - mildly crisp croissant with icing sugar. absolutely scrumptious and affordable ($1) for a quick snack. 2. 知足 by 五月天 - has my vote for best sentimental song by mayday. coupled with the mtv, its ability to absorb tears has beaten me today. twice. 3. 陶子's first album with 海蝶 (singapore version) sells for only $11.95 at hmv. but there's only 1 catchy single - walking to new york. the rest of the tracks are either pretty bland or weird. and her voice certainly doesn't have the power to express some of the songs to their fullest. shopping list completed: 1. 2x butter mints from marks&spencer. $3.90 each. shopping list undone: 1. side pouch. nothing from flash&splash, adidas, walletshop or converse looked interesting. i'm only left with the oh-so-common version from 77th street. 2. adidas sling bag i want ($49.90) 3. instant karma tank from instant karma ($35) 4. i love fat-bottomed girls shirt from instant karma ($35) 5. wooden accessories something awkward happened at heeren. i attempted not to recognise someone i'm not sure i want to recognise, but did in the end anyway. 23:42 / and blackened tears fell with mine // |
