8.15.2005 killer queen by assorted artistes     i bought this for its inclusion of favourites such as gavin degraw, joss stone and jason mraz, and constantine's cover of bohemian rhapsody; though i was never a fan of queen, having only heard we will rock you, we are the champions, bohemian rhapsody and crazy little thing called love. i'm plainly glad that someone invented the idea of ripping cds so that i can exclude tracks i hate from my playlist. the bad ones are, as follows, (in no particular order) joss stone's under pressure (i am very disappointed here), bicycle race by be your own pet (totally annoying) and bohemian rhapsody by the flaming lips. everything else is good or at least above average. you simply must hear jason mraz's good old-fashioned lover boy and josh kelley's crazy little thing called love. absolutely beautiful. one caution though. this album is not fit for already jaded individuals such as i. the metallic rock kills. i don't know why i bought this album. that's why the language in this post is as horrendous. 00:09 / and blackened tears fell with mine // |
