8.21.2005 bill (in kill bill 2) mentioned something about superman. he said superman was a man with innate abilities, unlike spiderman or batman who were normal civilians taking on roles beyond themselves. even superman's costume was produced from the cloths he was wrapped in as a baby when he arrived on earth. he was born a superhero. but he chose an alter ego who was everything he wasn't. clark kent was a timid, cowardly man without a direction in life - a reflection of the human race. (and what i certainly am now) while i still haven't figured out a general direction, i shall spend the next couple of weeks/months reading through the career guides and scholarship booklets left behind after this year's short stint at varsity applications; and perhaps take on courses to enrich myself in the coming year, either musically or academically. and these thoughts suddenly make me feel a lot better about myself :) i just need to find a way to pack all the material into my bag. hrms. 23:27 / and blackened tears fell with mine // |
