When your name is called, SMILE, walk BRISKLY and confidently towards the Guest-of-Honour, making eye contact. Do not keep him waiting for you. 2. Extend your arm fully, with elbow straight. 3. SMILE and shake the Guest-of-Honour's hand firmly and confidently with your PALM, not your fingertips. Make eye contact with the Guest-of-Honour. 4. THANK the Guest-of-Honour, addressing him as "Sir", warmly. 5. Receive your award with BOTH hands. 6. Face the photographer and smile, if applicable. 7. If the Guest-of-Honour speaks to you, smile, make eye contact, and respond politely and confidently. 8. Thank him again, bow or nod your head slightly and walk off politely. 9. As you walk towards the other end of the stage, stop. Face the audience completely and bow fully from the waist, with award in both hands. Take your time, make it meaningful and do not rush. (!) 10.
